Réplique du blouson d'aviateur classique A2 de 1875—Cuir de cheval
Description
Named after Mallory Park, the legendary circuit in Leicestershire where Britain's road-racing greats met every autumn, the MALLORY is an attempt to carry the air of 1960s–70s road racing over as it was.
The base is the slim British riding pattern. From there the shoulders were widened and the body shortened, with diamond quilting across the shoulders and sleeves to make that width read even stronger. The sleeves, though, were left long: keeping the wrist covered when you reach for the bars is what a motorcycle jacket is for. A short, wide body with long arms also lifts the proportions.
The leather is a French calfskin tanned in two stages — fully vegetable-tanned first, then drum-dyed with a heavy oil wax, with no coating on top: a pure aniline finish. At 1.2 mm it is dense and holds its shape. With wear, the colour deepens unevenly until it reads as two tones.
Finished with a red quilted lining, corduroy collar facing and IDEAL zippers throughout, the IMOLA is a vintage racing jacket built for the street — equally at home at full throttle or in the office.
Details
Premium Oil-Waxed Calfskin Leather
Made from French calfskin, approximately 1.2 mm thick, vegetable-tanned and drum-dyed with a heavy oil wax. A dense hide with a backbone to it, so the pattern holds its shape.
The leather features:
- Fine grain surface
- Natural pores
- Pure aniline finish — no artificial coating
- Dense, structured hand
- Rich two-tone patina that deepens with wear
Full Grain Leather With Natural Character
The leather is not covered with heavy coatings. Instead, REALSIMONS preserves the original grain structure, allowing:
- natural wrinkles
- subtle colour variation that deepens unevenly with wear
- authentic leather aging — it does not break into the loose, wide creases horsehide does
Every jacket becomes unique over time.

- Genuine IDEAL zippers at the asymmetric front, the pockets and the cuffs
- Dot buttons at the collar and the front flap
- Belt adjusters at the sleeves

MALLORY PARK & THE BRITISH RACING JACKET
Deep in the Leicestershire countryside, a small circuit opened its gates in 1956 and quickly became one of the most beloved venues in British motorcycling. Mallory Park's tight, oval-inspired layout rewarded bravery, and every autumn it hosted the "Race of the Year" — an international invitation event that drew the greatest names in road racing. The original 1963 and 1964 programmes, with their bold MALLORY PARK lettering and the *Motor Cycle* magazine masthead, are the documents we kept on the wall while designing this jacket.
In those years, the paddock was a place of leather and oil. British racing jackets were cut slim and functional, built for the crouch of the riding position, reinforced where a rider needed it most — shoulders, elbows, forearms — then worn for years until their surfaces carried the map of every ride.
With the MALLORY we set out to restore that 1960s–70s vintage racing feel — not as a museum piece, but as a jacket you would actually reach for. We kept the slim British base, then re-proportioned it for the way leather is worn today: broader shoulders, a shorter body, and that deliberate riding sleeve length.
Leather use and maintenance knowledge
- Leather/fur/textile products are consumables. Proper maintenance can extend their service life.
- When wearing it daily, you should pay attention to protecting the leather surface to prevent scratches by hard or sharp objects, and avoid contact with oil, acidic and alkaline substances
- Leather products are strictly prohibited from washing, tumbling and drying, and long-term exposure to the sun.
- If they are wet by rain or moisture, you can use a soft dry cloth to gently wipe off the surface water stains and dry them in a cool and ventilated place. Do not wear before it is completely dry
- Leather should not be rubbed with water or gasoline, as water will make the leather hard and gasoline will volatilize the oil in the leather and cause it to crack
- Natural fur/fur collar will have slight curls after long-term wearing or washing. Detergents may cause hair loss at some edges, so dry cleaning is recommended
- Colorless maintenance oil should be applied before changing seasons and storage to prevent leather aging and cracking. Before application, a small area should be tested on a hidden part to prevent discoloration caused by chemical reactions between maintenance oil and leather
- Store in a hanging position and do not fold or press heavily to prevent wrinkles on leather/fur
- Mothballs for mildew and insects should not come into direct contact with leather
