Crafted from heavy-duty waxed and tea-core horsehide, it offers durability, suppleness, and a lustrous sheen. The silhouette follows the classic jacket style of the late 1980s, featuring broad shoulders, a wide chest, and a cropped length, reinforced with custom hardware, a wool lining, and Thinsulate insulation.
Details
Born in the late 1940s, this jacket quickly became an iconic item of American motorcycle culture—its epaulettes' stars immortalized by Marlon Brando's 1953 film. Today, this jacket revives its bold, masculine spirit with refined details, adding a modern touch.
Two types of horsehide give this jacket a unique personality:
- Oil-waxed horsehide is thick, easy to shape, and possesses a natural sheen. With wear, an oil film gradually forms, deepening the luster. Its uncoated surface retains authentic marks and wrinkles, offering a soft touch and resisting deformation.
- Padua tea-core horsehide complements this jacket with its soft texture, sheen, and fine grain. Over time, it develops a warm patina, offering a unique charm to each wearer.
This jacket features a classic Perfecto silhouette, with broad shoulders, a wide chest, and a slightly shorter length.
Wide armholes ensure freedom of movement, while tapered cuffs and hem accentuate a slender, trapezoidal silhouette.
Hardware: Custom rectangular belt buckle, 10 star-shaped snaps, IDEAL 10 main zipper with large zipper pull.
Lining: Thick twill jacquard fabric with 5.5cm of diamond-quilted padding.
Insulation: Lightweight and warm 3M Thinsulate M-type insulation.
Pockets: Chain zippers with horsehide straps, echoing vintage American details.
Structure: One-piece back panel with pleats and a cropped cut for a clean, streamlined silhouette.

One Star Motorcycle Jacket (1950s)
In the late 1940s, SCHOTT transformed the BECK 999 into the 613 One Star, its iconic star-shaped epaulettes and simple, rugged design leaving a lasting impression.
Shortly after, the 618 followed, almost identical in style, except the star-shaped epaulettes were replaced with snap buttons on the lapel.
In 1953, The Wild One released a rare hybrid version: a combination of star-shaped epaulettes and snap buttons. This wasn't a factory production, but rather a personal modification by the owner.
The jacket shown here is a replica of this one-of-a-kind piece—a faithful recreation of Marlon Brando's timeless iconic look.

Leather products are consumables.
- Proper maintenance can extend their service life. When wearing it daily, you should pay attention to protecting the leather surface to prevent scratches by hard or sharp objects, and avoid contact with oil, acidic and alkaline substancesLeather products are strictly prohibited from washing, tumbling and drying, and long-term exposure to the sun.

Do not wear before it is completely dryLeather should not be rubbed with water or gasoline, as water will make the leather hard and gasoline will volatilize the oil in the leather and cause it to crackNatural fur/fur collar will have slight curls after long-term wearing or washing.
- Detergents may cause hair loss at some edges, so dry cleaning is recommendedColorless maintenance oil should be applied before changing seasons and storage to prevent leather aging and cracking.
- Before application, a small area should be tested on a hidden part to prevent discoloration caused by chemical reactions between maintenance oil and leatherStore in a hanging position and do not fold or press heavily to prevent wrinkles on leather/furMothballs for mildew and insects should not come into direct contact with leather
